How to mod a 2pot brake caliper & disc to an AE111

I find that its a waste to reduce disc size. Furthermore, with 2 pot, you need a bigger disc for a bigger heat sink for the 2 pot to work optimally.
I bought the stuff and wanted to do this before. But I sold all of it because I need some money to do other mods at that time. So I've also seen friends and other people doing this mod. The caliper bracket have to be engineered to remove a bit of material. Just very minimal. Other than that, its all plug and play.

Veloc..are you from Sabah? Which town? Is that easy to get st202 caliper in KK? Cause this weekend i'm going to KK for vacation..:-)

Hi... Yes from sabah... Not really easy to get here. Expensive too. Just that last time i got a good offer from mudah.

Hey man, I did the swap two days ago. Yes, 275mm SuperStrut disc with 55mm center bore. The AE111's had the 55mm hole whereas the AE101's had the 54mm hole, so you want the AE111 discs. I decided to use the AE101 Superstrut brake pads, however the ST202 pads are a tiny bit wider so you'll get about 3mm more of coverage. Either set will be fine. The ST202 carrier brackets cleared on mine but the disc was really close so I gave them a quick grind just to be on the safe side. Still sits close (not centered) but doesn't catch etc.

Here's some photos:

I know this is a very old thread but I’m currently doing a AE92 build and have Levin BZR Twinpot’s with BZR discs 275mm and celica st202 carriers,

My problem is the AE92 is 54mm hub centre and the ae111 discs I have are 55mm , would they just fit on or would it be dangerous??

Also I saw somewhere you have to shave the rear of the carrier by 2mm to centre the disc , did you have to do this??
