well to me, me n ahwah has kinda started on the wrong foot. maybe i'll give him another chance. i'll change my valve spring n seal by this week. then i'll be going to reflash by this weekend. i'm going to send to johnson lam for tuning..

maybe ahwah is a good mechanic. but his staff perform job like not serious. then when came back from ah wah found out that 1 vacuum hose not install back.. but then ah wah ask to come back and settle. thats all not a big deal.

i think dont need too cause ah wah already know since i called him at that time and he ask me to come back shop. i'll monitor their work this time.. not because of i wanna catch them do wrong, just wanna makesure everything's alright..

It's always pros and cons. Something more expensive there will have cheaper things too compared here. Car pricing against earning per dollar for example.

actually auto performance parts here are very expensive. it is cheap because it was a local made parts like example exhaust pipe, intercooler pipe etc.. if we ordered straight from japan it gonna cost like hell..

I have a friend who can tune for you (road tuning) which is in a sense better than dyno tune, in some ways.

dyno tune is good for showing numbers etc, but a dyno also needs to be done to confirm stuff.

A guy in Hamilton is working on a 4wd dyno (he already has 2wd) is well priced and can be booked out for a time period.

Let me know if you want more details. I am about to get my wideband so i can start tuning my airtrek i have been tuning my own cars for a while now just never had a wideband to do the AFR properly.

After using the car for over 3 weeks since dyno-tuned. The FC hasn't improved but became more thirsty. Gone from 6.5km/L to 5.8-5.9km/L. I've been trying to be a good boy not to floor it but seems that it's not helping much.

When tuning, we didn't realize my vacuum pipe where I tap my boost meter was already leaking. It max boost at 1.22 bar. I got it fixed, FC seems to be higher but I am boosting 1.5 bar now. I guess I need tallman to re-check my tuning. Supposed to get better mileage out of it but I am not. Maybe the leaky vacuum has screwed the mapping.

From power perspective, the car runs very strong and willing. No complaints on that. I am using Petronas Ron 95 now, a very good fuel compared to Shell. But Petronas dries up much faster when it's towards lower than half tank.

Will update more when I have more observation.

Haha yah bro. Mother nature's law. More power = more fuel. :) But honestly, I just wanted tallman to recheck the tuning cos it was tuned without perfect setup that time. Hope I'll see some more improvements. Hehe..
