Move from 16 inch to 18 inch rim

My stock airtrek actually changed timing belt and dyno tune few weeks ago at ah wah place..
He fixed for me a boost controller at 1.2psi.

Everything is ok... fuel consumption when down (yay!!!)
But the boost feel not too strong..

But anyway, my sluggish is i need to rev till 2000rpm then the car only move from stop..
Other car 1k + rpm car move d..

bro cytien, what is the FC now and what was yr whp & wtq?

1.2 bar should be pretty good for stock setup. At least pretty responsive.

2K only starts to move. Hmm.. I've never really notice mine though.

Was the ignition timing retarded slightly?

Even compound grippy cannot become sluggish. Probably rolling resistance becomes bad, but sluggish normally is like pick up time and with bigger diameter usually more felt....:smokin:

That's why I said it's a bit odd, cannot think of anything else that would be the cause.
Like my Mark X for example, after I change from 16' to 17' then not as easy to wheel spin due to much better grip from the wider and higher performance tires, but actually the pick up is better due to overall lighter package and about 1% smaller total diameter.

Most autobox sucks all the time la.. unless SST/DSG with launch control. Hehehe... but living in city, no choice but to drive auto for convenience's sake.

i was hoping my gearbox condemn so i can convert manual...lol

Can change also, no need wait for auto to condemn. Maybe can sell off second hand. I did sell my engine off when I did my engine conversion.....:driver:

True also but u know la, our finance minister's mindset is that "if it aint broke, don't fix it"
