this long legendary story,even some people not watching they are in love with the songs of it, story made lots of men or women felt in love with cars (it personally made me in love with car since 10) , story that at first made a lot of people well known of drift and then touge had finally ended (even the current director for the final stage is dead in an car accident before the last 2 episode out :afraid::afraid::saint:)

this story or anime i believe is one of our forum's favorite especially fstr perhaps judge from his bunta's avatar by the way, how you people feel when you watch and know that the anime is ended like that:hmmmm:

myself as one of it's fans, feels little sad and touched but disappointed they just end it like that but when i keep watching till the after credit part till the FT-86 showed up,not sure why but then i feel annoyed cause this touching and sad ending ended include a short commercial for the ft86 now just cant stop listening to the last initial D starting track => outsoar the rainbow

Well if I were the producer, I would reboot the series as well. Stage 1 was aired many years ago...those who was a fan like me are getting older. Now that they reboot, they can target new, young viewers. At the same time the creator can buy some time to continue the story

Definitely look forward for a reboot. But risk is will it still be nice? The final stage left a good warm feeling. Gave me a flash back since I was high school kid beinf crazy all about cars.

lots of ppl posting on fb bro go watch it with english subtitles .... bunta wan scrap it but takumi said kept it as it went through his racing life with takumi, and he will fix it using his salary but not for race use anymore..

perhaps if new movie showed takumi will drive brz or ft86 then
