Hello all,

I would like to claim the LOSS of USE but I heard that this has to be submitted personally to the insurance company HQ in KL ?
Not allowed to submit to any branch office ?

If this is the case then how could Penang, Johor, Kuala Terengganu, Sabah & Sarawak people submit their claim ?

Thanks !

u mean total lost?

I think he mean lost of use of the car for a certain period. There is claim for that, like taxi fare, or car rental, something like that but not sure of the procedure, but I think all Insurance branches can do that. All they got to do is check with HQ for approval, not ask customer to contact HQ...:stupid:

Ooo yeah heard of that, but I thought only can claim eg: car rental from the other insurance party?

as long as your car in the workshop then you can claim for "loss of use", or we call it inconvenience fees
they told me for 1500cc car it's RM30.00/day

I know this has to be done personally but I don't know MUST go to KL HQ ? are they going to issue the cheque immediately ? if no, then i shall be able to submit to any branch and wait for the cheque by POS

A friend of mine having issue with the insurance company because the insurance company says this claim shall exclude sat & sun. The reason they give is the insurance company was closed on weekend. Then my friend answered "saturday sunday I use car too. insurance company is closed doesn't mean I have to stay at home and not allowed to drive out for lunch & dinner"
