This is an interesting video from Best Motoring. Keiichi Tsuchya, Manabu Orido and Junichi Wakisaka drove several RX8s fitted in a head-to-head comparison of the 3 tyres in wet conditions.

During the individual runs, they are not told what tyres are on each of the the cars. They give their comments on how the car felt as they drive around the track.

On the last test.....a 3-car race............they will finally know which tyre brand are on each car.

I need a favor. Since I don't know how to read Chinese Characters in the subtitles, would someone be so kind as to give a brief translation of what the 3 drivers thought of the tyres ?

Moderator :- When I tried to 'Insert Link' for this, it kept asking me to enter Full URL. ???? Isn't the link above the full URL ? They don't come fuller than this.

Thanks

unfortunately,
not all online video sites supports the quick video attach button you see when posting a video.

please use the embed feature supplied by the online video site.
just copy the embed code and paste it. but please remove the size code:

remove codes like these: width="450" height="250"

this would help keep the size consistent throughout the main page as latest videos posted in the online videos section will appear there

thanks

tsuchiya&orido:
potenze RE 040 on RX-8 type S perform very good and still have good grip in wet condition.

comparing between neova and RE 01R, they said RE01R response sharply once enter into corner and they felt than neova quite tight and heavy during entering corner. But considering the grip on track, neova have good and balance tyre thread and it really stick on the track and this causes a little tight and understeer during entering the corner...

all the tyres were performed in wet condition...
red RX8 - neova , white RX8 - RE01R

actually that video is cantonese subtitle though it chinese characters,so some word i don't really understand.. but overall still ok.. vr sorry cant help much.. hope u don't mind.. =p
