i think we need a new model not just upgraded model..

At proton's present state, it'll be quite hard. Facelift here upgrade there. I lost count how many time iswara went for facelift/upgrade The Saga was based on the 1983 lancer. Imagine that! 24yrs going 25 and still going strong hahaha.

i must agree, campro was launched in gen2 in year 2004. but the original idea of development went back as early as year 2000.

1992 - Saga gained major revision, known as Iswara
1992 - Saga Iswara Cares, on sale in limited units
2002 - Saga Iswara LMSS launched, in silver colour only
2003 - Saga Iswara LMST launched, with all new dashboard design

i came to know the new Gen2 sedan will be call Proton Persona, a name from Wira in UK.

So meaning my guess for engine wise was more or less correct albeit one year later though car wise i got it off 3 years lols

then again, if the campro not really CAMPRO it should be called normal twin cam or something like Pro-TC (proton twin cam) hehehe

Hmm wonder why they put the word campro on it when it does nothing as what a real CAMPRO should do? haizz

yesterday, 13 august 07, as I was driving along tampin seremban trunk road, i passed by 2 of these cars with trade plates and as i found out from a friend, they were sent to Proton Edar Melaka.

somehow, from far awar, it looks like Honda City. most probably because of the floating front grille.

41K for 1.6 sedan; ouch!!
