Caldina ZT (1AZ FSE D4 VVTi) use RON??

Anybody can help me ?
I hv Caldina ZT 2.0 1AZFSE D4 VVti 2WD..
my salesman force me to use RON92 coz he said that engine suitable for RON92..
my fren also use RON92 almost 1 year 2 months and n problem..
i check in internet, that engine can use UNLEADED REGULAR PETROL.

My problem is, when i check Toyota Avensis with same engine,its required RON95..
my fren from semenanjung and sarawak also advice me use RON97..and no problem to they engine..

What should i use ????
my salesman said he will not responsibility if i use RON97 and got problem..
he sure Caldina ZT only can use RON92..

So, how can i know if my engine got problem when salah isi ??
what is the effect before that engine will damage ??

car can use higher ron than the required ron, it cannot just lower than required ron


if ur manual stated ron95, then u hv to use ron95 n above

if manual stated ron92, then ron92above all can use....

ask him go study

Don't worry with that, i have a few fellas with Caldinas and now worrying of pumping RON95 rather than RON97... Higher, no problem. Lower, headache for heavy tuners...:sleep:

ermmm..my toyota wish aka wald ww200 using same eng as urs bro...im currently using RON97 n it doesnt effects me in any term yet gives a very good fuel consumption indeed :)
