Citroen ZX spare parts & maintenence issue...

My relatives is offering me a Citroen ZX manual.
May I know the availbility of spare parts and price??
How about the maintainence? Is it very hard as what my relative said?
Please dont recommend me transplant engine since I'm a student

Citroen ZX is a very nice and heavy duty car.
if u can get 2.0 16v engine is even better.
160hp for 2 door couple version.
Just spand for RM5k to perform major serviccing, this car will provide u 10yrs
without any big issue. What u need to do is just quaterly engine oil change and etc...
Of coz, u have to look for reliable poman before u take this car.
Basically, Peugeot and Citroen are sharing up to 80% spare part (PSA), the work shop which is capable to repair peugeot, they will have knowledge to handle Citroen.

yeah..i agree..zx is a wonderful car...
try taking hard cornering...it will do wonders...
parts are abit difficult to find...but there are always kedai potongs..
so no worries...

I'm not really sure is which version...
I just know it's 4-door, black colour and 1.9l engine(don't know got how many valves and horsepower)

So do you have any contacts of good foreman in repair Peugeot or Citroen?

yeah...1.9zx 4 doors is common...havent seen 2 doors yet though...
where u staying btw?
ive seen a few pugs & citroen wshops around damansara area...but i reckon the prices are abit high...but u can try kpg sg penchala (opposite the curve) ...there much cheaper...

I'm staying wangsa maju,
while my relative's zx still at bangsar.
Still thinking take the zx and major repair it are worth or not...hmm

I'm from Penang.

Btw, u can bring the car to workshop first, let them check the car condition for u.
If need major service or high cost repairing, just drop the car.

or if u decide to buy the car, u must inform your relative to give u 1 week warranty,
if any problems persists within 1 week, the costs of repair will be beared by both of u...means half-half on the bill.....
zx is a good car though...just the parts are expensive....
if u could afford it go for it.
