Mitshubishi GDI 1.5 tuning

Hi , I was wondering if anyone knows what kind of modifications can be done in an AUTO Mitshubishi GDI CEDIA 1.5 . The engines gives only around 56KW ... to poor for me at least :)
The car is performing real slow even if I have installed Pipercross rasing filter and Racing sparks.

Any one can help?

bro..my lancer Cedia last time also running on 1.5 GDI engine.

now, the lancer are reborn with old engine, more powerfull 1.6 MIVEC RS from lancer CK2A halfcut..

Tuning the 1.5 GDI is not helping event you change the parts (air filter, spark plug and etc..)The engine is not good for modification..if you need power, then you need to replace it with other engine (evo 4 or MIVEC or 1.8 GSR)

So as I can see this GDI engine is for nothing! :( Now changing an engine to a VR4 let's say will be better i think but.... now I don't want to change it. Too much trouble ...

Hmmm...if i were u, if you want a normal driving car, just maintain the GDI engine and upgrade the bodykits..Its enough

But option to change to VR4, bad ideas!!!...the engine will start giving you problem soon...:proud:

Please check your GDI throttle body..Is it using a cable or stepper motor..Last time mine is stepper motor one..twice broken and very hard to find the replacement..

Hmm... so is a bad idea... I thought so.. well then I guess the only thing stay to me is to do what you say. Upgrading a bit what can I upgrade :) I hope at least I will see a difference. :hmmmm2::hmmmm2:

ha ha .....modding is a good idea......starts with Air, then spark, stability (Strut bar), rim, brake, spoiler and etc.......modding ur car is like growing a baby.....enjoy like u seeing ur kids growing...ha ha

Agree agree... once you start modding, it's very hard to stop
