Pipercams were bullshit in Malaysia

I was surfing through another forum , and i wish to share this link to the others
All these while , we always wondered Pipercams in Malaysia ? woah mitsubishi 4g1x got piper ? woah kancil mira engine also got Piper ? finally pipercams posted out in their site and they are taking action on it. Kudos !! , if its matspeed then its matspeed , if its PZ then its PZ , if its Crow then its Crow , so dont simply use Pipercams name for ur own product wakakaka, here goes the link and article

We have recently been informed of a spate of counterfeit cam shafts bearing the name of Piper Cams or Piper Cams Australia being sold throughout South east Asia . Specifically these cams are sold for the Proton / Mitsubishi 4G15 - 1.5L engine . Piper Cams has not produced blank cams for this engine. Piper Cams ONLY produce cams here in the UK from our own factory. so far few of my customer using it pretty satisfy with the results...
and best of all Jasma cams is not regrind cams hehe

since day 1 i started using pipercam few years ago, i knew it wasnt original pipercam from UK... with such low price, dunno which fool believe its original from UK...

wonder how to measure up the deg. on a cam ... they claim 272 deg. for most cams ... what if its 262 or maybe not regrind at all ...

heard that somehow the latest duratech cams claimed made by BC also fake..
but still need fact to prove it (x remember where i read the article b4)
BC does not produce any specificic 1.8L mits model instead of their proudly acclaimed DSM machine and few other recognized model..

it's the same case-to-case happens with a lot of debate about e-bay item (fake/imitation) vs original products
but to sell this fake/imitation items with similar/just slightly lower price of the real goodies for me is a BIG no..no
PLUS..having a misleading info and cheating the customers by claiming it as an original product
would be a betta and honest way if just openly declared those fake/imitation items to market/future buyers as some of us may adopt the concept of "as long as it works..who care if it ori's or not.."

not sayin the Duratech is a fake cams..but claimed was made even in the market place section it is produced by BC
regardless the box sayin it's made in USA..hell..even some of the top brands manufactured their items somewhere in China etc due to cost saving..cheaper workforce bla..bla

perhaps the main point is to come clean and stated clearly wether the product is genuine or based on fake/imitation model..that's all!

the rest is up to consumers wether to buy or to use it or not..but ethically, the fact that it remains WRONG to imitate/duplicating/faking the original items and yet claimed the bogus product as genuine,even sell it with a same/lower price and spreading a misleading info out of it
