manual boost controller, need help

i just get manual boost controller, works engineering type. but i don't know how to install it. this is my picture of it. anybody help

For stock turbo with actuator.
U cut the hose from the intercooler piping/turbo outlet to the actuator, install the Boost controller there. follow the arrow.

throw away ur actuator
u use dirct hose to waste gate also can
-better change air filter apexi or hks u can hear diffrent sound

ur wastegate how many mm 35 or 38

Ok, u get the hose that connects the intercooler piping/turbo outlet to the wastegate and have the boost controller connected there.

2 different way.

If the hose is connected to the bottom port of the wastegate, then u do as mentioned on top. U increase the boost by bleeding out air or opening the controller.

If u have the hose teed and connected to both top and bottom port, then u can connect the top port. But there is some changes in the adjustment. U increase the boost by closing the bleed valve until u achieve ur desired boost.

Works Manual Boost Controller ok ka if to play higher boost (up to 1.5 bar)?
Currently using fish bone (tulang ikan), not really accurate, still searching for another manual boost controller that cheaper...

p/s: If got budget wanna buy Greddy Profec-B II, huhu. But for now manual boost controller is the best option. (no money no higher boosting..)

-the orientation to install which position???? is it sandwiched between wastegate and boos pressure????

or is it install using "T" which leaks boost pressure to atmosphere before going to wastegate??

No need T. The tulang ikan valve is already bleeding pressure to the ATM.

From wastegate / actuator got one hole there, put the vacuum hose there and join the tulang ikan in the middle of the vacuum hose, and continue the hose to the intercooler piping (make one hole there near to t.body, after the B.O.V. holes)

Please top up some more if my explanation is not clear..hehe.

there is a hose from the exhaust manifold connected to the actuator, T-bridge it, using the 3 valve tulang ikan, keep the valve open by 1.5, and the 3rd one closed. this will give about 0.8 bar boost to ur stock turbo

Yes ^pomen_GTR^, both way can be adjust, the main function of fish bone is to have some leaking so that we can increase the boost pressure..

More boost, more fast!
Over boost, keter terbabas! Hehehehe...

Sure... Provided u are using wastegate. Instead of installing the boost controller at the bottom port, U can T it from the boost source(IC Piping) to BOTH top and bottom port of the wastegate.

Have the boost controller to installed on the top port instead. by doing this, instead of bleeding the compressed air out to cheat the wastegate, u are acting it the totally opposite way. U will allow the spring assisted with compressed air to push the wastegate down to achieve more boost to counter the spring rate + altered compressed air. By doing this, u can achieve more stable boost.

BUT BARE IN MIND!!! BY DOING THIS, THE BOOST CONTROL ALSO WORKS OPPOSITE WAY. OPEN ALL THE VALVES FULLY IS REDUCE BOOST. CLOSING ALL THE VALVE IS MAXIMUM BOOST.... PLS BE CAREFUL ON THIS!!!

This is not entirely true... Even if u are buying Turbosmart boost controller, the same ammount of turns will react differently on different engine/turbo.

Lebih lebih lagi, Tulang IKAN...

BTW, where is the hose from exhaust maifold comes from..? It's the hose from the IC piping or compressor outlet that connects to the actuator.

SAME MA.... Sandwich the BC within the IC piping and turbo.
