BUTO farriq 12 seconds! must be at least HALF of that la!! :D
hahha...no la..never tried to clocked it before..
by tried my frens car once..
4 throttle 20 v silvertop..9 sec++..

i'll try mine if got rsm loo..
hehhehe

me ultra-super-stock wira 1.5 wira carbie... 12.9 sec on level ground with wheelspin... (wasted about slightly more than half a sec there...)
me that time launch at 3k...
me next try i will try launching at 4k without wheelspin... tested it that day at the lights... alonela... ^_^

woyooo... manual 1.8? danny, shouldnt be 15++ or even 10.9 man! u gotta train summore. ur car can do way better than that. amongst other things, having a passenger to clock ur time is not preferable to me. clocking the time with u alone in the car is a better benchmark IMO. more fun too :P hehe but seriously la dude, it should be until 2nd gear only rite? i think should be faster man. :)

bornz's car ah? he 0-100kmh eye blink once got oledy  becoz the speedo reads our gearbox revolutions mah, his first gear there vtec on, tyre spin kow2 the car not moving yet the speedo oledy reads 100!!!! wahahahahahah thats not even 2 sec kekekeke

I hope air cond is not ON.

Last time tried it on my father's civic EG 1.5 carbie manual, 11.5 sec. Heavily slipped
my mum's Wira 1.5 carbie auto, 13 sec
my charade aura 16 sec ( )

But word of advise, cause u're going so fast at such short time, it's better to have a second person sitting behind to clock your time, so your eyes can be fully on the road. Beware of paralax too.

Charade kia

7.3 sec on a Wira 1.6??
Is that a track / rally prepped car??

BTW, the fastest car I ever clocked was in an E30 with SR20DET engine.
Clocked 0-60mph (0-96kmh) in 6.21 sec....
The car was fast but the brakes faded after about 6 runs...

Edited: Timing was done using the G Tech Pro meter, same meter I used for my 8.8sec runs in the E30 318is

i did some low 6secs with a Lotus Elise..

and some low 6secs with an Evo with full load of fuel, and everything else.. basically a heavy load

i think the most accurate way to clock ur time is to use some sort of perforamnce gadget e.g RSM,speed meter etc...using stop watch can lose seconds since there is delay..must have super fast fingers..
got 11++secs using RSM on my super slow 1.3..hehe

tried a year ago in my stock mivec.....9.5secs.....disappointingly slow... :( :(

what to do... it's a SOHC wira running on 16in wheels. Maybe perfect condition can get below 10 sec but thats about it. 100kmh must use 3rd gear, my 1.8 was auto converted to manual. Was using 1.5/1.6 gearbox if not mistaken.

Not to mention, driver (me) 1st time doing 0-100kmh testing so timing is not as good.

APEXI-RSM with G-sensor, besides recording the time speed sec's, what else can we do with it?

I also wondering...heheh... must have lots of mods on the car

2WD harder to launch from standstill somemore launching is a big factor in the split seconds time!

My 1.3 AWD no need to afraid too much wheelspins er~ :D Just hit the max RPM7000 then release clutch 2 secs ody reached 40km/hr! B) But 40-100km/hr take longer for AWD 11.++secs wor~ :P
