Thanks RErider. Everything came together these past few days. 1A Auto (US) sold me the weather strip seals for US110 inc shipping.

I also got some stuff off the Rx7club.com such as front and rear bumper protectors and trimmings, the indicator lights front and side, all of the side mouldings and emblems.

All this for US300.00 inc shipping.
All in all, I'm out US410.00 which I think is fair...

I still need the 79 SA rear lights though....

Over on RX7club.com, near mint SA's are selling for US3500.00 man that's cheap!!

Oh man, ...Ah Choy is taking one hell of a long time to do the engine transplant for my SA. Sent the car to him in November untill now not done yet. Its one excuse after another...damn, now he says car wont be done untill after CNY.

I think he should not accept jobs if he knows he cannot cope with the workload...sigh..

The FC engine costs RM3.5k, Chassis reinforcements, bigger rims to accomodate bigger brakes, new aircond, labour and such...I expect it to cross RM10k all in.

On hindsight, I just shoulda bought a rebuilt SA engine from Atkins Rotary. Costs about RM3800 with manuals and everything included to just bolt on the chassis with no modifications whatsoever... less money spent and dont need to wait almost 3 months...

I'm currently in Melaka... Tomorrow, 8th Feb I'm gonna take a drive there and see If I cant persuade him to get the car ready before CNY.

If he still insists on after CNY, I might just call in a favour from you Heath. Maybe he'd listen to long-time customers like you.

(For your info, the car in question is the Dark Blue SA, reg no BCM 10)

hmmm i'm quite often there...is the SA always parked inside there ?
his FC always on top... sometimes RX8 at the bottom.. sometimes FD...
another corner always SA is there... i believe its urs.... but always go there no one work on it.....

That may be hard to find. I suggest you commission somebody to fabricate one similar to it.
