2 unit 10' subwoofer VS 1 unit 12' subwoofer

Hi guys,

Which one is better? Use 2 unit 10' subwoofer or 1 unit 12' subwoofer. Some people said, 1 unit 12' subwoofer is more powerfull than 2 unit 10' subwoofer.
Is it true? Any idea?

Are you talking about the same sub? Or different sub?

2 X 10" has 50% more cone area than a single 12". So try to guess which is capable for higher SPL.

Are you comparing with the same spec, brand, material of the enclosure?
We cannot just judge it by quantity or size..
(just my 2 cent)
