Thats the thing with cars..
Whether we use it for daily driving, or Occasional spirited driving..
Maintenance cost.. are expensive..
Our nissans last way Longer than a certain other Popular car..haha
So maintaining it can't be avoided i guess :D

banzai, ur B14 run how many years and what is ur mileage?

mine is 1998 now 120,000km.
i just bought tis B14 few mths ago. as far as i know have change air con compressor, then i change radiator hose, power steering belt, air cond belt, muffler, mid-muffler. now i have 4 absorber rosak! and the stabiliser thing also rosak. it cost me nearly Rm1k to replace all of that. $$ not enuff so hv to wait later on baru change it.
repair car is not cheap larr......

mine is 98 also, but mileage 150,000 . hmm.. your mileage consider low.. below m'sian car average... Cars of this age definitely need to change many parts due to wear & tear. I've used it for the past 2 years just for normal driving.

which absorber u plan to change? adjustable? i guess mine is also about the time, but if possible, i try to avoid local OEM, as i find it too soft for my liking. so far have no idea which absorber to change yet.

150k km oledi leaking oil here and there..........
i tot engine over 200k km will have this oil leaking problem.
anywhere its a 10 yrs old car larr........ but still a nice car to drive.

i plan to change to APM abosrber which cost Rm120-150 for 1 absorber (front/rear)

exactly..but no doubt it's a nice car to drive with the responsive GA16.
any idea about GAB absorber? the non-adjustable type.

GAB?? no idea how much and i guess it is definitely more than Rm200 per pc. haha................
if u make some modification to the exhaust the power even smoother!!
put in 4-2-1 and u can get 8-10hp on wheel!!
got extra 5wheel hp u will be damm satisfy already!!
ur car is auto or manual?

mine is auto...so power is very much restricted.

auto is like tat. only got 4 speed inside.
unlike the new civic which has 5 speed in its auto gearbox.
nvm larr. u drop in 4-2-1 and u will know the force is always wif your engine. haha.................

hmm as for my car 1997 mileage is 210km now but stil in running condition no leaking here and there la just that my water pump need to change lo...
haha lucky me... i guess.

or maybe i just drive too slow hehehe...

banzai is true you know try the 421 you will definately have fun with it great mod to start with haha...

then change you plug it will actually help also then intake filter can try used the drop in from k&n too haha good mod oh but a bit exp la if can put open pod then just do it will be better too in condition you do up you exhaust first la haha 1.6~1.8 inch pipe size would be just nice...

u install 4-2-1 one rite?? so your 4-2-1 can plug how how many O2 sensor? 1 or 2? as far as i know from mechanic B14 has 2 O2 sensor. one is situated at the catalyst convertor, another one is somewhere at the bottom near to the mid-muffler.
most 4-2-1 only allow u to plug 1 O2 ssensor.
