how to contact D1

hi guys,

after a disaster with my car at NLC i went to D1 and they did a great job of rescuing the situation (taking out the rivets etc) and making my car look nice again.

please note however that they are not cheap and they dont do paint jobs but the painter they recommended was top class. (2 weeks to spray !! but at the end it was worth it)

like one bro mentioned Lam from D1 is very humble and professional but speak little English. see his collection of photos to prove his great work.

I just found out something new. Alot of people thought that NLC is connected to West Coast Customs, I wrote to them and below is the response....

I am writing to inform you that I had sent my car to Next Level Customs after learning that they are in some way your Asian partner for the Asian market. I am quite disappointed on how they had treated my car.
After four weeks there was not much of a progress. The main thing was to work on my arches to fit in bigger rims and do some body work. But anyways when I realised there was not much work done I asked them to give me back my car. They kept my deposit (RM800)as they said that it would cover what what they had done so far, and that was just cutting up some metal around the arches and replacing a cracked windshield that I bought on my own. I think that what they had done would only be half of what they took. They claimed that they did fabricate some body work for my car but when I asked them to produce the fabrication they (NLC) could not say anything about it. For the sake of my car I just didn't care about it anymore.

When I came to them, they claimed that the work will take 3 to 4 weeks.
But even though they said later that it will be delayed the problem I found was that there was no progress whatsoever. I admit that I became very worried and decided to just take it back. I find them not caring about the customers cars either. I have witnessed on how people do call them up and they won't pick up the phone.

At the moment I am giving a warning to the local people about them, and much to my surprise there were many others who were unhappy on their shoddy job.

Anyways I just thought to inform you on this matter as many of my friends and car enthusiasts are aware that WCC is related to NLC somehow and if this is the kind of service NLC gives us, then it would tarnish your reputation.

That would mean that NLC promoting themselves with West Coast is a lie and a fake. Or after I wrote WC a complaint they don't want to be associated with NLC.

hey guys... lets try to do complaint to Tribunal Tuntutan Pengguna M'sia. file a case on them... TTPM will call both parties to TTPM court. just provide TTPM with enough proof like pic, resist, print out of website etc.

normally we as pengguna will win :P

Hi,

Nolah never heard of them. But what you should watch out for is when they are customising, do they mean cut and paste? And also look for any other cars they have worked on. Examine the quality. Also check what other cars they have. Because you can gauge how the quality is by looking at the other cars and if they prirotize on BMW/Mercedes, feel free to wait a long time for your car.

Oh my... Did nitro design moved?? the last I recall was in Sunway area.

In any case, Im really sorry to hear this bro. Last time I had a similar experience like u with nitro design. I sold them stuff and they say they will pay me back tomoro. so nvm... I thought they are well known company so... I decided to give them a 1 day debt. Then from that day onwards I cannot contact that guy (name I dont wanna mention). he doesnt pick up my calls. I had to contact his friend to get him to answer my call. what nonsense!! after harassing his friend and him for 1 week and wasting my credit and petrol (Im from klang btw), I finally manage to get my money. and he give me I-dont-know-true-or-not reasons. I dont care... I manage to get my money back.
