BMW X5 Accident Along Jalan Ampang

if such a solid car can accident until like dat....musta been onehelluva accident..~!!..this is nucking futs~!! u pay RM400k for bmw's research n crash tests approval.either its a real bad accident or sum1's just pushing their luck just becuz its a bmw...

but frankly,sometimes it may comes to fate...if its time to die ar,drive beemer also die la...cos got 1 3 series too...dunno how the female driver drove..she knock into a tree too...the beemer crushed into half...d driver died on d spot le....sad case...the passenger died when she was on the way to hospital...T.T

i think some of you guys put your faith wrongly in what is deemed as a "strong" car. strong dont mean indestructible.. and sometimes.. the damage is there for a reason.. crumple zones..etc. cars are built to be expendable in a big accident, to protect the occupants inside. any car, regardless of make can be smashed to bits in an accident.

Guys,

The guy who putus tangan happens to be my friends boyfriend. It was his left hand..the Dato's son was the driver..i think he esacape unhurt. Heard from my friend that her boyfriend flew out of the passenger seat, hand got 'scrape' off on the road. Punctured a lung and broke some ribs. Really..gave me a shock when i heard about it...you always think that this would happen to other people..

thing is, as old as the saying goes..really DONT DRINK AND DRIVE. :ph34r:

I was out with a friend at about 3.30 am when I witnessed this horrible accident. The X5 hit a tree along Jln Ampang near the old Barbaran and swerved to the other side hitting a lamp post. Engine parts were all over the place. Luckily for the driver and passengers it was a BMW. I believe if it were to be another car, the occupants would have kicked the bucket. The passenger side of this poor X5 was literally torn apart. Unfortunately I couldn't snap a pic from that side as there were just too many people and the victims of this crash were lying on that side.

yo man, dont get the misconception that just coz you drive a beemer or merc..etc. that you can have a bad accident and survive. any car will be torn in 2 if it hits a narrow object in the right place. especially a tree or lampost. if the driver and passenger survived this, i'll just put it down to good fortune and lots of luck.

my fren was at the scene of the accident. lemme tell u it was sick. when my fren pass by there, he saw a severed hand lying by the side of the road.

but as much as i pity him, i'm just wondering how did he got flung out of the car? wasn't he wearing safety belts or something. guess not. why do people take things for granted and not wear safety belts. i really cannot understand why. in fact if you are stuck in a heavy traffic, u will realise that out of 10 cars, at least 3 to 5 doesn't buckle up.

I wouldn't pity the driver if he dies or lost his balls in the accident, but his friend doesn't deserve that (unless the friend suggested the driver to drift!). Anyway... just another Jln Ampang day.

++ Do not show mercy on drunk drivers!! They're equally as dangerous as a killer ! Call the police if you suspect there's a drunk-ass driving on the road. You can change the situation. A life is still a life ++

i heard the same thing as well.. wonder how he's gonna live day by day knowing his friend has no hand bcoz of him.. damn.. thts gotta be hard to accept
