car die off when braking

common problem for wiras since the using of siemens ecu and this caplang TB.

start ur engine. disconnect the hose from airbox to TB. pull the 'cable to control throttle opening' then spray generous amount of carb/tb cleaner inside.the engine might show u sign of wanna die-off.no worry.keep pressing the throttle.

i m sure alot of wiras user keep a can of this cleaner handy. u need to do it every 2-3 months

Dude, go to BBK Proton Edar, same row as I Love You mamak. RM99.xx, inclusive 5% tax. They did a very good job for me last time, friendly chaps.

Other workshops would usually charge RM80, but I still prefer to go Proton Edar to do tuning.

its very common to wira 1.5 with siemens ECU. the throttle body is super sensitive to dirt sticking inside it.

easy DIY though, just remove the air filter hose. 1st u wipe with dry cloth. then clean it using carb cleaner...petroleum also may do the job.
