car plate number question

hi, may i know if it possible to inter change both my car plate number? will JPJ approve not?

Why don't you call JPJ and ask? Even if you get an answer here, how sure are you the person is totally correct? Would you dare take the risk? Wouldn't it be easier to call the relevant authorities and get an answer you would be 100% sure of? Plus you can also find out what are the relevant procedures immediately.

yeap... will approve.... jz transfer... need to register at jpj....

in my knowledge, if two cars had been registered no interchanges are allowed. the only chance to do so is buy a new car (or bike), then exchange with the other one.

so to your question evox2, JPJ wont approve that. any registration number interchanges must include one new vehicle.

did mine b4...got to get a unregistered bike to host the old number. cannot just swap both number

Best way is to call JPJ like speed demon said.

no need to call JPJ. im telling u the info based on my experience. u can always interchange ur number provided:-

i) 1 of the vehicle must be an unregistered vehicle.
ii) the owner of both vehicles must be the same person.
iii) must send both vehicles for JPJ inspection and get the approval.
iv) pay the fees.

Can't interchange. Only can TRANFER your exisiting no plate to a new vehicle, or bike...

New vehicle or motor must be same owner as existing no plate owner.
