To reduce wind noise, soundproofing liek this wont help at all.

Wind nosie usually comes in via the rubebr seals at your doors and sometimes the glass. The glass part is very hard to solve but for the rubber seal part... its easy

expensive way - Go to ACE hardware and buy the door/windows insulation things they sell. Look for the black foam liek one with gle at the back. Use it and stick on to the door frame. this causes a tight seal against wind. If it does tseal tightly, use another layer at the other side.

Cheap way - Buy insulflex/Superlon adn a can of dunlop glue. Do the same thign as above.

i interested with the ace hardware solution, so do u mean just get the insulation things (black foam with glue at back) and stick it on the door liner straight away? how thick is this foam? and is it cut to fit specially for the door frame?

if i go there, which section since sometimes the sales there know nothing you asked about...how i should called this insulation foam? and roughly how much its selling there...at least i want to make sure i got the right item as u described.

Thanks all for your support. We only do complete cars. No partial installations!!
My deadline has been extended until the end of march 05 and we have confirmed this to be the last date!! We have a new project on the way and we need all our technical guys to be at our clients factory. So again this is the last call.

I don't think vibramat give perfect sound proof for the 4 door. My stock car got a piece of vibramat. Only sound a bit silence while closing the door. Sound from outside; like motorcycle passby still can hear.

hahaha!! You know also huh. Proton no budget you think they going to sound proof your car like mercedes? Remove the piece from your gen 2 then come and write a feedback here. ;)
