hi,
4g15 can tune for a/f?? i know can tune for petrol.
yeah.... any car also can tune AFR.... infact, all cars runs according to AFR theories....

carbie engine is easier to tune as it needs less tools.... efi engines need expensive tool to tune AFR......

if is Carburetor u only need 1 hand and 1 screw driver

hand and screwdrive..
but that thing is facing opposite of the filter if u're standing infront of the car.. going behind that thing isn't it a lil hard..since we can't see a thing that's inside the so called 'pipe' screw thing
and if we tune it...how to tune until got water split out wor..swt..kinda scarry when my car does those water splitting and coming out white smokes

lol what water and what smoke?

i tuned alot of times also none of these things appear

WITHOUT AIRCOND idling
i tried 1000rpm, 1300 rpm and now currently 800rpm

what i can tell u is the lowest u set the better.....FC good, mileage more

but not until u lepas abit clutch pedal(manual) then straight mati engine

700 - 800 idling rpm perfect without aircond

with aircond 1000 idling rpm

yah.... idling point as low as possible, but not until ur whole car shaking la... jz above the shaking point is the best....

for some car using high cams, their idling point should be abit higher than normal...

mehh....idle and aircon is not what i wanna tune wo...i'm saying fuel and air intake wor
sorry lar guys...i never noticed this topic is actually one years old...i bought it back after a year..lol..
i saw the picture on the carb to tune the fuel and air one...below the air filter one...which is not the 2 screw that we tune idle and aircon

For NO guesswork DIY AFR tuning, suggest invest in a vacuum gauge....

Me just did! RM70 only.

For more info abt how 2do it & pics of my own DIY, pls chk out my thread here :

Hope that helps...Best of luck! Have fun...

ps. A vacuum gauge can help in many other aspects of engine diagnosis.
