Just got the marina beach resort to arrange accomodation for single rooms, for late comers interested in the trip lately!

so fast another week has pass us by, but we decided to go durian hunting this weekend, Sunday,6th.Aug.2006. We will be going tru Gombak-Janda Baik-Genting Sempah-Bukit Tinggi-Bentong-Fraser Hill.

All meet at BP station opposite GIANT Supermarket Batu Caves at 7.30am sharp. Breakfast will be along the way, when everyone is really hungry.

just to update, all interested participants meet at BP station opposite GIANT Hypermart, Batu Caves, 7.30am sharp. Pls reply tru email/sms/call.

Our return route will be from Fraser Hill-K.Kubu Baru-Batang Kali-Hulu Yam-Batu Caves. Pls make sure your super Minis are serviced and checked thoroughly, expect some thrilling drives but safe.

by the way, also make sure your Minis are rain resistant! water proof! and anti flood too!

We expect some new Minis to join us this time, hopefully.

MinCoopers East Coast Cruise Sept.2006

good morning Mini Owners/enthusiast,

well, we had an easy durian hunt, and the drive was exciting and challenging. Up in Faser Hill by noon, had lunch and coffee, came down at 1.30pm. All arrived safely in KL by 3pm.

Now, our next MiniCoopers drive wiil be to Kuantan, Pahang. Will be checking in Cherating, beach resort room for about rm.150.00-160.00/room/2 breakfast.

This trip will be on 16th.-17th.(Sat.&Sun.) September 2006. Details and itinerary will be posted soon.

wish to imform, after a round of consultation and feed back from past participants, all are suggesting a three day trip due to the long distance.

Hence we decide to start journey on Friday,8th.Sept. afternoon, so that we have the whole of Saturday to beach bump ! Hotel will be two nights stay, room rates will be confirmed later.

Another successful and happy trip, heres the short chronology:

Friday: All re group at BP station after Gombak toll, due to heavy rain, at 6.30pm - Convoy leaves at 7.00pm, still raining heavily, till Marang ! Dinner at Termeloh R&R, still raining and we decide to carry on - All minicoppers arrive Kuantan safely, at beach resort at about 11pm. Tired out!

Saturday: Laze the whole day, good seafood lunch at one of the good restaurants in Cherating - laze again the whole day at the beach resort - very hot day - Dinner at another seafood joint near Kuantan - very cheap la

Sunday: check out at 11pm - shopping at Natural Batik for all - left Cherating at 12noon - lunch at Termeloh R&R - very hot day la - all arrived KL safely at 5pm. Cheers to all participants

Another successful and happy trip, heres the short chronology:

MiniCoopers Drive Into Nature Nov.2006

Hi Mini enthusiast,

Well, for the past two weeks has been sad among our group. One of our members'daughter passed away in an accident, That y the the silence till now.

Well, we are back, and we are planning a drive to Taman Negara Pahang on Sat.&Sun. 11th.-12th.Nov.2006.
Accomodation is again limited, only 3 air cond.chalets(priority to family group) and 10 non air cond.chalets. BTW, its raining season and its quite chilly at night.

Air cond.chalet 3 single sharing @rm.90.00/night, non air cond.chalet 3 single sharing @rm.70.00/night, Camping ground charges @rm.20.00/tent.

As for dinner and breakfast, all participants to bring their own, gas stove provided only for making hot drinks, that'll be more fun, less burden on the organisers?!

Trip/participants briefing/confirmation will be held on Sunday, 15th.Oct.2006, 9.00pm, at Burger King outlet next to Petronas stn., opposite TESCO Damansara.
