When I got my new system installed, the installer accidentally drilled the bracket hole for the o2 sensor wrongly, at the lower part of the downpipe there... so he welded a plate at the hole and drilled another.

Now after some driving the downpipe is leaking... there is this loud spshhhhshshhhhhh sound and my idling jumps up and down from 200-1500rpms. I was wondering if its safe to drive like this to my mechanic's shop at around summit USJ area?
Or will the leak do something to my underbody...hmm.

The leakage part is at the mounting point for the downpipe there.

Sigh... mafan la...

I think probably ur fuel consuption will suffer. But on the plus side, u get free blow-off valve sound..hahaha

Nah la it doesnt sound like wastegate... something like full-time-NOS only. Scary boh. I think this time Evo see until my car also will give way. :D

Heheh of course Im going to get it repaired....
thing is, is it safe to drive like that for about..20 minutes?

Hmm hope so... easier to get it fixed at the place where this got installed.
I only hope it doesnt melt my underbody or something.

heyy jase, wassup with the piping mod...your current modded one not powerful enough? :D

dont worry its fine to drive around for 20 mins...wind down your windows if you are afraid you will suffocate from exhaust gases escaping into your car....:)
