Eat lots of yogurt before pollen season.

TO PREVENT STROKE DRINK TEA!
Prevent buildup of fatty deposits on artery walls with regular doses of tea.(actually, tea suppresses my appetite and keeps the pounds from invading....Green tea is great for our immune system)!

Soya Bean

All of us know that Soya bean drink provides good protein to our body,
but many of us doesn't know that there are certain days we should avoid
on the drink.

Soya bean drinks are best consumed on hot sunny days where the
sun is burning and glaring. The Soya milk will gives lots of nutrients
to the body, as the body is able to absorb the protein well.

However, avoid the drink when the weather is cloudy or anng. Taking
the drink in these weathers, the body will not be able to take in the
protein thus will result in a disease called "GOUT" or "high acidic urine"
due to the high protein residue in the body, after a long run.

This disease will cause pain to your knee joints and it will only be in
control when you control your food intake of proteins and medications.
The pain is unbearable and usually you will have no idea what you have
taken to cause the pain. Food like Soya beans, ikan bilis, broccoli,
spinach, peanuts, animal organs ( i.e. pork liver) etc will have to be
avoided to prevent the pain from attacking.


So my friends pass this to your family, relatives and friends to keep an alert
of the pros and cons of Soya bean milk and when it is to be taken and avoid.

Drink milk to quit smoking!


Milk not only does the body good it may also help you quit smoking, says a study.

Consuming milk makes the taste of cigarette bad and by making a few modifications to the diet one can make quitting bit easier, said the study published in April 2007 issue of the journal Nicotine and Tobacco Research.

The study is said to be the first to explore the taste-altering effects of food and beverages on cigarette palatability.

The study examined 209 smokers and asked them to name items that worsen or enhance the taste of cigarettes.

Nineteen percent of them reported that dairy products, such as milk or cheese, worsen the taste of cigarettes; 14 percent reported non-caffeinated beverages, such as water or juice; and 16 percent reported fruits and vegetables.

Forty-four percent of them reported that alcoholic beverages enhance the taste of cigarettes; 45 percent reported caffeinated beverages, such as tea, cola and coffee; and 11 percent reported meat.

Identifying which components of foods and beverages ruin the taste of cigarettes could lead to new treatments to deter smoking, said co-investigator Jed E. Rose of the Duke University Medical Center study.

The researchers are now looking at the possibility of using the chemical silver acetate, known to alter the taste of cigarettes, to help smokers quit.

The additive could be given in the form of a gum or a lozenge as part of smoking cessation treatment, according to a science portal, EurekAlert.

Lullaby Muffins

Makes 12 low-fat muffins
Between the bananas, the whole wheat, and the honeyed touch of sweetness, these muffins are practically an edible lullaby.

2 cups whole-wheat pastry flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon baking powder
2 large, very ripe bananas
1/3 cup applesauce
1/4 cup honey
1/2 cup milk or soymilk

Preheat oven to 350F. In a large bowl, combine the flour (make sure it's whole-wheat pastry flour or you'll produce golf balls, not muffins), salt, and baking powder. In a blender, puree the bananas; add the applesauce, honey, and milk. Blend well. Pour the banana mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just moistened. Line muffin tins with paper muffin cups, pour in batter, and bake 30 minutes or until tops are lightly brown and slightly springy.
