Houses : Buyer,Bank and Developer issue..

My house are complete and I will take the key this saturday.

But, because of late payment by bank to developer.
I have to pay the interest. Of coz i dont wanna pay because its not my fault.

How to solve this problem?
Can I ask bank to pay and will they pay?
Or should I ask developer to give discount?

Anybody have go through this problem? What did you do?

BANK WILL NOT going to pay for you!!!
try to talk to your developer, ask them to waive for you... if you able to gather other buyer, which is having same problem with you, thats wil be much better...good luck

Sound to me its a mistake from your lawyer. They have to make sure everything is ok and goes well. Loan release date and so on. Get advice from your lawyer or like what others said, try talk to developer. Bank wont negotiate on issue like this.

you should contact Micheal Chong @ MCA. he's even more keng than David Blaine.

same thing happened to me. Well, u have to pay first then hopefully the bank will pay u back

negotiate with the developer to waive it.

My relative also same case, bank was delayed to release payment to developer.

So there was penalty.

But my relative manage to plead to the developer o waive the penalty.

My relative was able to prove it was not his fault and the delay was caused my circumstances beyond his control.

hmmm... thanks guy..

currently my bank investigate why the payment was late..
Maybe I will know the result today..

If bank not gonna pay.. I will negotiate with developer to waive
or give big discount fot it..

result from bank :

I know they will not pay for this.

bank will give me a letter state the detail why they late to release the payment.
They ask me to take it and use it to negotiate with developer.

They (bank) expain to me why they late. I think what they say is quite correct.

same thing happen to my cousin.
wat they do is, make noise at the developer & complain at the tribunal.

the developer in the end compensate i think about.. RM3000, just enough for him to get new set of sofa
