hi guys,

it been a while eh ... anyway ... need some input on a few things ...

1. at the moment ... i am dyi-ing some stuff on my car ... one of it is am replacing this one long iron bar (dont know what its called) that is next to the shaft close to the right rear tyre.. it somehow work as a supporting beam to something ... the problem know that i'am experiencing is ... it is breaking apart and where can i find a replacement or should i just weld it ....

2. am looking for a 99 spec wing and where is a good place to install it a.s.a.p ... coz the original hole has been covered and i think it needs n expert to locate it back

3. where can i get deal on a half cut .. or just the engine

4. lastly, anybody got the original fd carpet ... it just kills me not to have one ...

For question 1, are you refering to right lower arm? How you know is breaking apart? Crack or izzit just the bushing are worn out?

jasonlel live in JB? I saw blue colour FD with RE AMEMIYA(chinese word YU GONG) in the morning 7.30. Out from Caltex Station(if i correct). Is that you?

Check this pic. Is it the highlighted part? If it is then its common. Just change out or better if you can get them to reweld it stronger perhaps by spotting more areas. This is one main cause for Knock read by your ecu.

Also attached are how the look in good condition.

Call ahchoy for a halfcut or just get an engine kosong from him. He can do compression on the spot for your sake.

I used to have that annoying sound. Problem solved after I welded it back. I also changed the axle mounting to Nylon type.

I think the one u are looking for is called Rear Antiroll bar. Eneos in 1Utama is selling the aftermarket one (from Japan) at RM950. :shocked:
U can get the used one at ~RM150 or less at chop shop.

Check this pic. Is it the highlighted part? If it is then its common. Just change out or better if you can get them to reweld it stronger perhaps by spotting more areas. This is one main cause for Knock read by your ecu.

Engine kosong, same.. ask from Ah Choi.... there's another shop before you arrive Ah Choi... called R1 Racing or something like that... it's among those chop shops.... they have RX8 rears hanging high up there... they do have a few heads of RX7 for sale.... it's cheap as well... those are 94 to 96 versions... the fronts are going around 5 K....

Original FD carpet.. go customize one la... those accesories shop... cut the size you like... then put in only... it should do the trick...

i recalled that day u at ah choi's place.... one of ur Rotor Seal Koyak already.... that one fixed already ar ?
