Installing Mivec Block to my 4G91..

Anybody ever try to install/replace their 4G91 block to mivec(high compression) block? Will it be ok?? anybody face any problem after replacing it? coz im planning to do it soon... Advise needed here. Thanks...

There's no actual meaning of doing so... U can actually go for a 4G92 SOHC block, which cost less than half of MIVEC block. Still, U'll achieve 10:1 CR.

If u gonna use a MIVEC block, the 11:1 CR will require a larger injector to prevent premature detonation. If u were to upgrade, why not straight go for 4G93 SOHC block which cost the same as a MIVEC block. It's also plug n play. Just use back ur 4G92 oil pump. At least U'll get a 1.8 DOHC. Just my 2 cents suggestion.

Yes. 4G9X are all the same. Difference is only SOHC or DOHC. If u are replacing the whole short block.
