Hi all,

I hope everyone is enjoying this forum and the knowledge to be gained from interacting with other forumers. And I really hope that you have in the process learnt to appreciate and better enjoy your ride and not be bogged down with all the horse crap that is said about rotary engines.

I have been the interim president of the RE Club since its inception and although I haven’t managed to achieve all that I set out to I have learnt a lot in the process. Because of these things I have learnt I have decided to resign. In addition I wish to focus more of my time on my professional practice which is becoming exceptionally busy with the worsening economy rather than wasting time on helping others that don't appreciate my help nor provide assistance to move the club forward.

I hereby nominate one Joewe Kong (aka RErider) as the new club president. Joe is excellent (as most of you know) at organizing events, convoys and teh tariks that I now come to realize many RX owners love and enjoy the most. Sorry it’s just not me ALL THE TIME every Friday night period

Please post up your nominations / recommendations for the new president so that this forum and perhaps the RE Club may perhaps one day lead to bigger and better things and I suppose prevent this forum from fading into nothing.

Best regards to all,
13btt:shades_smile:

do u plan to donate out all the engines that u built ? ehehehehehe

Thanks. I believe Joewe Kong will be the suitable person to lead the RE club. He has more than once proven his ability in organising and most important of all he is passionate about RE's. This i hope can be brought up at our next meeting and settled.

At the same time i would like to thank and wish 13btt best of luck in all future endevours. Its sad losing a vital member of the RE community. He has and i'm sure will continue to contribute to this forum as his technical and practical ability with regards to RE, i dare say, is second to none.

Whilst having said that, i will continue to support Joewe as much as i possibly can and trust other members will come in and take a more proactive role to the developement of our RE community.

I am in full support regarding Joewe being the new club president.

Cheers

Edit : Best wishes to Glen @ 13btt and hopes that he still joins us for gathering as and when it is possible for him ^^

no suggestion. but 13btt....i've always respected your knowledge on RE and i felt that an RE Club is definitely more than TT session and Convoys. Hope that the next president can also supply knowledge for the true 'enthusiast'

i remotely support... whoever is the president... that make things legal and fun....

due to the fact that i'm based in penang
