planning to buy this machine.. what is the latest price?
is it same as in website.. rm122,980 ?

Earlier report say CVT heats up easily?any truth in this?lancer owners..your feedback please...if so, has it been solved?

The CVT heat up issue was a worldwide issue and it has been resolved by Mitsubishi in 2007 itself. They added on a trans cooler as std fitment in all Lancer GT/GLS and there's no more overheating unless u drive continuosly from JB to KL at above 200kmh all the way. Mine has never (touch wood**) had this prob although i've driven 170-190kmh from KL-Melaka several times.

U should get one, it attracts attention wherever u go till now. I'm certainly enjoying mine although i only drive on weekends as i have my other Toyota for weekday use

Great!!! What color & model did u booked? I'm sure it'll be the 2009 with darken rear lights. There's a lot of things that you can & might do with yr ride but take yr time, go thru that forum provided, lots of poision. But do not overspent in current climate condition unless u have the dough (hope i'm not turning u off).

The car is great and very little problem or no problem at all coz its fully CBU from Japan. If in Klang Valley, a couple of good ones (service centres) u can choose from like what major owners does. If you are buying the GLS, 1st thing is browse that forum for 2nd GT springs which will improve yr handling immediately as mere RM500 or lesser for whole 4 springs only!!!

Anyway, enjoy yr ride and drive responsibly as always.

I booked the GT version.Figured dont have to hassle to do all the modifications.Im not a big fan of modifications per se.I like to savour the originality, know what i mean?hehe.by the way, its 2009 spec(with the darkened rear lights), should get it by end of april or mid may by latest.Plus..managed to squeeze the SA to give a few goodies (window tinting,DVD player, although i pressed for ps3..will get it when the car arrives)

if i have lancer GT..I do like this..project-X
