hi guys,

sorry to all coz my question might be a bit silly, eh, forgive ya, total rookie here,
it's my clutch this time, it's a bnr34, totally stock, without any mod, been driving it for 2 months now and recently notice another sound when stepping on clutch, "clak", heard it when engine is still on, after shutting engine, sound is even more obvious,
is this consider normal as well?

regards,

Some clutches are just noisy especially if it's double or triple plated. Could be the discs wearing out but it's no issue until it starts to slip :) My clutch is squeaky..even weirder noise..heh heh

will a worn out clutch plate causing damage to other parts?

Picks, the clutch is normally the Achilles heel in the transmission. There should not be any damage to other parts, but its best to get it checked by a proper mechanic. Clutches do tend to make a bit of noise, as Innocente said, especially if its a twin or triple plate. Eventho your car is fully stock, it may have an aftermarket clutch installed, so as I said, best get it checked by a proper mechanic. :)

thanks guys,
will definitely have it check quick, by then maybe a clearer understanding on it, :) cheers and regards.
