yup already solved.can tarik until rpm cut now.but haven try on 5th gear.

especially your special device.... is it electronic device like a piggy for the map sensor? electromechanical device like a pressure switch? try it on ur car and show us the dyno charts! heheh...go DIY

mr coltrain u need to change ur ecu to a newer version im sure da pinking sound is definately louder didnt the authorised Proton Service Dealer replace ur ECU when ur car was still under warranty,If u wanna change it now im sure ur warranty dah abis so u gonna pay for it,Da ECU wit da transponder unit will cost u a bomb plus the installation labour and labour for ur immobilizer coding(Programming of ur transponder key) will be additional charges not many proton service dealers can do the coding it is quite a difficult process coz u need clearance code from proton HQ,if the service centre key in da code 3 times salah u can only change the code the next day if ur transponder nt coded u cant start ur car.u cant find 2ndhand g2 ecu around u hafta get a brand new unit wit new mappings.

feel like do it for my car too,but 1st thing i wanna do is convert my transmission to Manual,Gen2 auto really terrible....

dats what piggyback means mr ajaxmd cheating ur TMAP sensor to gain more fuel into the combustion chamber,to convert g2 to manual is an ez job u just need to get a 2nd hand waja MT and just fit it in,g2 uses same transmission as waja same goes to auto transmission,need to mod the engine harness abit coz AT engine harness lain skit compared to MT coz in AT g2 u need to be in either P or N to start the car so maybe need to bypass wires to the starter bt 2 make a perfect job need to replace the whole engine harness,after done with da wiring need to setup ur stock ecu to MT mode thats where u change the variant settings.U just need to discard ur TCU u can reuse ur current ECU.
my one is the normal version and year 04 Gen2....i thought u car already TC ??if ur car TC d,better not use AT...i don't think the AT GB can stand the TC.....if u plan to take out the turbo,then still ok for the GB....well,if u want do the swapping can PM me and let know about it
actually i'm very tired to use manual in town.but for long distance i prefer manual.
but very seldom long distance.
to m1adam the cost for swaping GB how much?...any side effect?
