hey everybody,

is a sad days fr me today, my feilo just get scratch by some bastard last night. i assume is someone do tat, bt i dont have the 'bukti' to take action!!! is a really sad day fr me, any body got this kind of situation bfr, then wat u guy will do after this? pls give some comment, dont think will spray my feilo due to is no secure as well after u spray it, unless i get move out from this bastard place....:(:(:(

between how much will need to pay to fix back fr the scratch, i assume is by screwdriver or car key.

depending on how severe the damage is, it could be just the surface, or worse it cuts down to the chasis, if that is the case, you might need to fill it with filler etc etc

if the cut is not deep, maybe u can polish it with rough polish compound since it onli damage the laquer suface to minimise the scratch mark.... but if it is REALLY deep.... soree bro nobody can help much on this....... unless u respray the scratched area ( assumed ur car paint is still new)... or the whole piece (if ur car paint is old).... or u can even use the colour filler ( a few types can get from the large acc. shop like Eneos) to paint back the scratch... its just like a pen..... plus dat u car is still using ori. paint from nissan.....

consider deep, can c the white area already...........................i dont know need re spray the whole car or just ask ppl to touch up...even just touch up already less than rm1000, no just both side, bt front n rear bonnet also..............:'( :'(

colin...just use some paint n fill up the scratch....cheaper way...unless u wan to spray the whole area or car...

ong,

how to use the paint to fill up the scratch, can describe more detail a bit....:(, yesterday night totally cannot slept, really pain.....until sooo deep.....

it's call touch up paint, a 'nail-colour' sized bottle with little brush with your original paint. You do the touchup by covering the scratches with the coloured brush. White lines will not be visible then, but the scratch marks will certainly be there.

You gotta show us some pictures then we can judge, if it is really deep, then you have no other choices but to patch up with fillers and repaint. Big job, that is why people are often pissed off when their car is keyed.

spot on...colin...hope this will help.

anywhere thanks ong, i assume is hard fr me to catch the picture then show in forum here, coz when i saw the feilo, my heart is really pain.....totally dont wan look on it.....aisss...me already buy the original paint, will ready fr me in tomorrow, brush also buy already, now just 1 more question, the line is quite deep, wats the stuff to cover it?? when can i buy tat stuff?? something tat can fill up the deep line....deep scratch, then i repaint it by the small brush....

nothing you can do really.. like I said, if you want to repair the deep cuts, you need to take it to the paint shop, filled it with filler, sand down, apply primer, and repaint, a very costly job.

Well, judging from what you have told us (very limited information by the way), the cut is pretty deep, so, one way is to cover up the white lines (scratches) and leave it like it is, otherwise, you are left with the first option I mentioned above.

today i just quote wth 3 shop, totally cannot touch up need to respray again. coz too deep, n including both side of the car, bonnet, n rear bumper.....1 shop quote fr me rm1,500, another 1 is rm1,600, another 1 is rm1,800. if wanna replace another different colour, will cost me rm2,600.

i assume i will replace another new colour, honda accord original grey colour is quiite nice, any body know tat colour detail?? no the latest 1, bt the second latest, is a grey colour, bt no mocha, which place can have tat colour detail?? i assume tat colour would suit to my feilo.....

bt no tat fast to respray, need do research n make some saving 1st, heart is really pain........:(

black colour is very nice, bt my house dont have maid, cannot everyday wash the car n polish the car, somemore black colour will become hot....:( grey or silver is suit to me this lazy fella :)

Silver, in my opinion, is the easiet to Maintain, even when it is dirty.

Try the Silver from Toyota.

benz silver? :S will be very expensive, ong, how much u spray ur car in white colour? ppl quote fr me rm2,600 will be xpensive o no? take 10 days to spray......bt still considering wanna spent tat money o no....no a small amount fr me.....

I have a different opinion about silver on A32. I found that silver make the car look abit normal/out of date, smaller and even with bodykits or sport rims would not enhance the look. Let me give u alternate example: W210 with silver colour, look abit normal but on E46, is elegant feel. The A32 is like W210. However on A33 is a different story...as it is like on E46.

I guess if you are good at maintaining the car, WHITE is great. The past 2 copies of mototrader has the front cover with White cars... Teana and LS460. They also spot horizontal chrome grilles...very luxury and sporty feel.

Don't feel too bad about the incident. I know is not your fault and you have to pay for the damage. Let me share with you my worst incident that happened on my previous car. It was the 1st week after gotten a brand new car and a bike lost balance and hit at the back left side and left a vivid dent. Well, it was a hit and run. Take it as an opportunity for a new coat for your beloved cefiro...cheers.
