I've been driving a '97 RD1, dark purple, since 2003.
But the maintenance cost is killing me....especially since i'm based at Kluang, so I've been thinking of trading it for a more sensible 4-door saloon/SUV.

Is there a place u can recommend that can do a complete make-over of my beloved coupe for a reasonable fee? There are all sorts of problems with the coupe - aircon, drive shaft, gearbox, some switches, cracked dashboard, leaking rear windscreen etc etc

I'm very reluctant to let her go, especially since this is my first car. Or should i just cut my losses and move on?...

As an avid HCC member, I will advice you not to sell your Coupe since you yourself is reluctant to let her go.
We have lots of members here which can guide and help you restore your beloved Coupe back to tip-top condition with sensible price.
Please feel comfortable to start a thread here and list down the problems that she faced and we will be glad enough to help you. :_:

Economic and quality are always contradicting each other.. What we can do is to share our experience.. In the end of the day, you are the one driving your lovely coupe.. So you decide on what you should spend on it..

My engine is still very stock... so if long distance and over boost, it might biang.....
