Noisy when going fast

Dono this problem can be fixed or not or maybe its normal for proton cars.. im drivin proton wira, when i go 100 and above can hear da engine sound damn loud... anyone facing same prob?

yeah...me too...go ova hundred onli...ngeeeeennngggg....aiyo...thats why my fren said..malaysian car if u drive above 100 kennot hear radio already...haihz..

solution: dont drive more than 100km/h! :D

mebbe can put the heat resistant material (can act as soundproofing) under the hood

Me too..but my grinding sound only appears when I release the throttle when i am travelling at 100km/h on 5th gear. The sound dissappear when the speed drops to 90km/h.

I'm driving a wira 1.5GLA. I hv the same problem. I had jsut discussed this during my "yam cha" session wif my frens tonite. The results is proton cars are like that. solution is to go to the accessory shop ask for a double door seal which costs u rm1500-2000 and ask to install Asphalt/PVS sheet/rubber sheet to be install on the car area n install carpets on the 4 tyres mud guard.
Noise guaranteed to reduce by 50%.

wat sound o? my wira 1.5 manual fuel injection....throw in K&N air filter....above 100km.h no sound ar unless d air cleaner sound......

my 5 month old wira 1.5 manual also like that.......above 100 there is more sound from the engine & above 120 the sound is even more scary....... the engine does not sound smooth at high speed........is the engine built in malaysia by locals or fully imported ??? anyone knows ??? between 1994 -1996 i owned a nissan sentra 1.5 auto (1989 model) i tell you the engine was so smooth even until 170........

haha normal la. Mine also like that. Even when im driving slower than 100 also it's loud.
Try install those soundproof-ing material in ur car. Like teflon or the foam thingy, the one they call 'shit' haha

maybe :
i) the tyre u r using
ii) ur tyre bearing start to wore out
iii) ur door rubber start too harden
iv) try to install sound insulator
