Hi, im kinda new at this, so just want to ask info on this...

Since svt's have oil cooled pistons, can i use an oil cooler to cool the oil? I know that it isnt nessesary but if can, is it difficult to install and what do i need?

feel free to comment on this.

if you always like to rev the living daylights of your car and frequent sepang often then an oil cooler is highly recommended ...

you need oil cooler adaptor ... hoses ... and oil cooler .. if you are going for a relocation kit ... you'll have two adaptors and extra hoses to hook it all up ...

if branded set about 600-1k ... customised set about 400-500 can get .. no need to change oil pump ... the oil pressure with the oil cooler is still within the factory specs ...

FYI last time when i had my oil cooler and normal driving oil temp is around 70-80c ... and rev 2nd gear 3rd gear and 4th gear all the way to 8k the temp straight away jump 10-15c hotter .. this is just revving the engine for less than 2minutes .. imagine if revving for longer period of time .....
