Hi all

I wonder where to find the best shop and best person to overhaul my car in Penang.

The reason I need to overhaul my car is due to:
a)engine eat lubricant. It become minimum level after 3000km
b)take out the spark plug, it has lubricant
c)when rev high, a lot of black smoke coming out and it smell bad

Questions:
a)where to find the best shop and best person in Penang?
b)What should I know so that the people won't cheat me?
c)What element should I change so that while overhauling, I can add stuff to improve my car?

FYI, my car is carburator type....Iswara Aeroback 1.3L.

Currently, all the price I ask is less than RM800.

IMHO find a good condition 4g91 :D

change the engine. find 1 engine kosong then just change it.

transplant...depends on budget...
overhauled...much more cheaper n yet u know ur engine condition is tip top...

why overhauled ???
this based on my experience...
few years back...my previous car...
bought 2nd hand engine only from chop shop...Cyclone RM250 only...
then strip everything, overhauled it,without changing piston n conrod...others changed...
then after putting back everything back together...

the engine runs through out all over east malaysia for 5 years...!!!

Agree also. RM800 for top overhaul. RM4000 for new engine transplant. Some more my car is just Iswara body. Can't do much stuff also.

So anyone knows better place to do overhaul in Penang? Anyone? :)
