Questions on Evo 6.5 & 7 ..

Hi,

I'm actually in the process to get my Evo but in two minds between Evo 6.5 and 7. Need to find out from the evo user out there. Which one would be a better choice apart from the looks.

Is Evo 7 stock a lot slower than the 6.5?
What about handling?
Heard that E7 have a problem with the AYC is it true?

I own an EVO7 but i don't know which is better compared to 6.5 coz i never driver the 6.5..But evo7 handling is superb...very sharp steering....and from what i have been driving all this long..there is no AYC problem..What sort of problem is that??Maybe in the long term it could be due to the process of wear an tear...Such thing doesn't happens only in evo7 but to all evos too...In term of speed...well the E7 will have higher torque....So...anyway it's up to you to make the choice....

Thanks Syahrul.. That's the odd thing on paper it clearly shows that the E7 got higher torque.. What I heard was the AYC is like faulty and kept breaking down..

Hmm.. tough choise for me.. I kinda like TME fierce looks but I prefer E7 interior nice and clean.. Thanks again bro..

Thanks Ian.. currently, I'm plannning to put down my downpayment around 40-50k .. Since I've got a pre-approved loan with Hong Leong for 124k so I can only go as far as 160-165k.. Prefered unregistered ones as the interest rate is lower. I check with KLC auto subs of Ming Heng.. They quoted me 174k non nego.. Kinda high.. Anywhere else I can find at a lower price.. Any suggestion bro..

Hmm, not sure if I am eligible to post here, but I am in the process of selling my GSR and submitted my loan application to Hong Leong (3% interest for 7 years). The evo7 I'm getting is from Melaka, for RM155k only. The owner of this evo7 converted to Waja 2!! But I like it, low profile. :)Any comment is welcome!

Hong Leong gave me for unregistered : 2.6% 9 yrs.. Second hand 3.2% 7years..

I am yet to find out the reason behind this. As I post in another threat about the legal permit of this car, it may be the reason why the "same" bank getting me a lower interest rate.

The owner still keep the original E7 spoiler, logo and etc. He will give it to me when he pass the car. :) No point I get a car with Waja look. haha..

no worries on that. Am servicing my loan now and will be done in two years time... sigh..... just remembered that Public Finance actually offered me 2.7% for loans above 100k........ but i didnt take it as i couldnt service the loan.... sigh...
