Central Locking Failure...

My central locking failed me yesterday... when I was trying to disarm the alarm the lock is not open... try a few times pressing the radiostar remote but still lock... at the end I disarm the alarm an open the door by using the key... the central locking also didn't work after i press the break once i started the engine... was trying a few more times after i got home but still failed...

so this morning i went to the radiostar's installer and they check it out... according to them it was the central locking delay switch or something rosak... so tomorrow I have to bring it to PE for check up... what a hassle...

does anyone else having this problems? what is the problem anyway? is it difficult to solve?

today i was on the way to perdana damansara taking the penchala link.. as i left the toll i saw a red suzuki swift pull up behind me.. i took off full throttle from the toll cuz i was late, changin at about 7500, letting go just about when i entered the tunnel while i put my change into my wallet, i looked back at the rear view and i see this speeding red car... i was thinking, wow thats one fast suzuki, but i didnt slow down and came right behind my arse.. like right up my behind man.. but i turned out to be a golf GTi... shifted down to fourth and pulled... member came side by side as i pulled to the far lane while he dived down the inside... but got stuck by a MPV so i blew by.. but he didnt let up and caught up just as the fork came.. i went left and so did he.. but ended there as he went into sungai penchala and i went right towards 1U..

well while this was all at full throttle i learned the car a bit.. taking that left at about 170 didnt seem that steady although i knew i had good braking power if needed.. i was kinda bouncing a bit(it could be the road).. i guess thats where the stage 2 brace would be good.. but all in all it prooved to be a tough fight.. even though you cant compare engines the car didnt feel like it was going to give way at any point..
today was a good benchmark day.. bring on the upgrades man..

I had the same problem, I went to radiostar's installer and they gave me the same explanation. However, after I managed to fix an appointment with PE Mutiara to fix it.. the locking problem appear to be ok. Maybe its a self-repaired thingy

What I've done was I took out the central locking switch and put it back .. in short, u need to refresh the switch.

hey man.. it was definately the new one.. dont know it is WALD tuned or not but definately the GTi, all red.

faisal i here you man, trust me that moment the road was empty, 3 cars on the road, the Golf, MPV and me...twas a saturday evening.. but definately racing on crowded roads are a definate no no.. unless of course it was my own backyard which all of ya'll would be invited to..

my backyard can only go 50kmph at most. with road works going on everywhere... the only race i can do is see how many pot-holes i can avoid on a 400m dash!

Racing on public roads, crowded or otherwise is a big NO NO.

Instead of bragging about your skills on the public roads, why don't you enter the R3 SSO Time attack. getting your line arround the Time attack course right to a milimiter is more rewarding than getting your line on the public road inch perfect.

Than you can go againt's brother Crash and see if your skills are up to the car's capability.

In fact wheever i see a Satria R3 being driven like a hooloigan on the public road I get dissappointed, coz that was not what we set out to create, a Street Racer
