Road trips.....

wow SG gots 300-400 of RX-8s! Great! the largest RE meet, definitely will make it comes true.

Supposed to meet up with Eric (Hot Stuff) and Royz (Texas) at the Sentosa Event last weekend (22/7). Could not make it bcoz having overseas cilents meet up. How was the event? did u manage to go? any pic? do post it up buddy.

As for the trip we will discuss it with members when we meet up this weekend. Many thanks in advance, so kind of u.:_: I will keep u inform.

No worries, we can discuss the plans.... I will take care of the RE SG side. In SG however, Rx7s are rare.... I have contacts with only 8 to 9 guys at the moment. But for Rx8s, we have at least 300 over of them roaming around this part of the island.... possibly 400??... The Rx8 club at the moment has 100 over members, with 30 over regulars and very active members.

Well, if you guys do come to this part of the island, let me know what i can do to help..... I can organise some activities, like drive to sentosa, visit the 2 SG rotory workshops, Autobacs asssoeries shop visits, evening drive around the happening areas(clubbing scene) and hv a drink at one of them, drive around "interesting" areas, supper at famous dessert places, car gathering spots on Fri nites....and we can also have a mini RE gathering oursleves :p In fact if you come over, I can get my fren in HOTSTUFF to take some photoshoots of us, write an article and print it in the mags =) I'll see wat i can do to make it interesting and make the trip memorable :p

great :) i think that such big event make it next year :) or end of this year also can...

to make it august to have the big meet up... too short notice...but up to everyone :)
the month of August we can also just make a short trip around :)

Yea... 300 - 400 Rx8s includes owners who are aunties and uncles.. haha...

Yupz, i went for the event.... the main attraction is the drifting and the FastNFurious2 movie by the beach. The movie was pretty cool cos the organiser got those featured cars to park at this open air showroom by the beach. My FD was one of those.... Jus before the movie began, a short introduction was made, and all of us turn on our headlights, started reving our cars which was super loud wif backfiring, loud wastegates etc etc.... And after abt 15 seconds... a group of dancers came and dance around our cars. After all tat hoo ha..... the movie then started. Pretty cool.. :_:
