Ya saw that in National Geographic channel few years back, very very sad case for those seal's, they end up like those Elephants of south africa just for the ivory,sad case.

I was having dinner with a scandivanian last month, and we were talking about the eating culture. Apparently there is one part culture where they shoot the seals and after that straight away gorge the seal's eyeball out and eat it.

anyway.. they kill those things to get their fur? damn..

the only thing worse than this i've ever saw is video from china, my uncle go there film and bring back show us one. Chinese hunter hunt for some racoon-looking animal, tie them up alive on some place and SKIN THEM ALIVE!! and then throw the half-head racoon in a bin before ship them to some restaurent or throw them away. Those things still move around ar...

my uncle say he is filming some illegal activity in china, mostly on illegal animal trade.. so teruk man..

wonder if any country would pass a law allowing officer to shoot people who own fur product on site.. or just make fur coat and stuff illegal, that way you buy also cannot wear, then sooner or later people will stop buying.

its not like pirated dvd where you buy and hide at home and watch right?

Unfortunately any humane methods of killing live stock comes with cost that no one is willing to bear. As such, cruel barbaric methods are often used. What kind of society are we living in when we expose children to such barbaric acts. Life is sacred but food is also a necessity. Sadly money is what makes the world go round and despite the protests from numerous wildlife associations, the butchery goes on. I don't know how someone who commits such atrocities can live with himself.

Well... this kinda activity has been going on for ages now. Not only to seals. Whales, Tigers, Bears, Birds & such. That's why there are lots of ENDANGERED and EXTINCT animals. Not only do we have to stop buying fur products. We have to stop eating exotic food. Some ppl like to eat bear, turtle or monkey etc. That contributes to poaching.
