Has anyone tried updating their phone to the new firmware R1N035?
Just wondering, after you updated the firmware of the k750i, does your computer see the phone as a w800 or k750? Mine now sees my phone as a w800.
Also, my default theme is now the orange walkman theme found on the w800 (I think it's the same one). I tried a master reset and the default walkman theme is gone. Lucky for me, I saved it to the memory stick. My phone language options are only English and According to SIM. I heard there were other issues with the media player and the java not being able to use bluetooth to connect. However I've yet to see for myself.
Do you guys have those issues?

anyone use k750 o w800...do u guys feel hangs when changing theme o search for contacts when its almost full memory..?
dark child: ive updated my firmware to R1N and evrythin is normal, got the same theme as my old firmware K750i, mebi u can try goin back to Sony Ericsson dealer to customize and to re-format the whole phone. but isnt it good to have W800i stuff? hahah
sonic: phone hang it is possible to all colour phone nowadays, so gota be slow while pressing all the buttons though u know damn familiar wht to press next, my phone do hang at times, cus i press too fast. and memory full also could lead to laggy.

if your nokia phone hang easily and getting slower...maybe its becoz u have used alot of your memory...u might transfer ur saves into pc then bring to nokia centre for firware upgrade....try to get the pc suite software from nokia..it can help you to transfer and manage your saves file with your pc....

i think my fren got a K750i phone... all the function is working accept it can't call out... understand is b'cas it's not a local phone... any idea of this kind of problems?... if flash the firmware, will it be working as usual?...

buy 902sh for safe coz its totally unlock with chinese firmware
but if you willing to take the risk then buy 903sh...they just able to unlock the sim lock but still have some bugs in between..like key pad no light...cannot master reset...etc...

does your fren purchase this phone overseas with offer price tie with the plan? if yes maybe the phone is sim locked....its quite trouble some to unlock it. There is a device and software call setool can unlock it..but setool is quite expensive....you may check check any phone shop around can help incase they have the setool which use in upgrading the firmware of the phone
903sh can't fully unlock? dat fone is nicer than the fones here.. aih... maybe i'll wait till its able to unlock first.. if not i'd prolly go for a pda fone.. since windows mobile 5 is release come next month.. with many pda phones awaiting to be released into the market.. one of which looks pretty good is the HTC Universal from Taiwan, looks like a tiny notebook.

most of the time i be in HK island office..if not probly will be in TST office or go mainland...
PDA phone or PPC phone is ok if you are fine with PDA..coz its not convinient if you just want to use it to call, listen to music or take picture....I am using Dopod 828 from HTC..its same as O2 mini but with 128mb ram and come with Wifi Card.
if you really have budget..get the smartone-vodafone sx833 which is 903sh official goods in HK..it cost about HK$5680 without any lock but only available in red....also they have SX313(703sh) in white and black with lower specs but cute look....
When compare both phone...i think 903sh is good in music playing and photography(3.2 mega pixel camera)....dopod 828 onli good for working.....
not recommend nokia N90..i used it for 1 week and sold it off becoz the phone is stuck in between of the dopod 828 and 903sh....but in terms of PDA capibility it lost to Dopod...in terms of entertainment it lost to 903sh so i think its not worth for the price now(HK$6000plus)..somore it has no vibrate call.....and the size back to those days of motorola microtac 8700 series....
