bro... when you mention 2 layers... means you stick on one layer then add another layer on top?? how thick is the material ?

hai bro,
first layer would be SP Mat (+/- 3mm thick) with alluminium backing and the second layer would be superlon (6mm thick, foam type, black) on top of the SP Mat. all in total thickness would be around 8-9mm. thickness may vary as manufacturing tolerance may happen as well as installation reasons.

note that this would ote affect your power window from going up and down as there is a lot of space inside the door.
