V-Power Vroomm.....

i don't think there is RON98 petrol in Malaysia, right?

They're all RON97 if not the regular RON92

once again Shell Optimax is available in UK, it is RON98 but it is different from V-Power because V-Power is RON 97. and BP ultimate is also RON 97.

a lot of high performance cars have "smart" ECUs where they detect better fuel. hence produce better power.

http://lancerregister.com/showthread.php?threadid=81292&highlight=BP+ultimate BP ultimate is 97, not RON 98.
I stand corrected. Thanks mate.

ok guys...i am using petronas primax.........previously using shell...........but noticed petrol filter was dirty so switched to petronas. not very sure if shell got anything to do with dirty petrol filter or not. when i next change petrol filter then i will know the result.

petrol processed out of the refinery's to petrol stations is the same and should be dirty coz its filter at the refinery and transportation time ! so the only place it to get dirty is at THE PETROL STATIONS coz there they hav filters to clean the petrol before you pump it so mayb u have pumped at a station that they didnt clean the filter ! so u better avoid the station and
another thing maybe ur petrol tank is dirty so its filtered by ur car filter :) check ur car tank and petrol lines tooooo ....
adios

V-Power component blend mainly crack material....so it's light. Remember
about shell petrol in ads...where it claims to clean engine, reduce wear and tear
...act like washing machine....remember???
Frankly speaking... fill up your tank full if you plan to go long distance.

I guess V-Power is more resistant to pinging/knocking so u can advance ur ignition timing abit for some extra power.

if normal petrol n V-power gave u da same mileage with da same RM u pump....den better choose V-power loo...bcoz less litres in ur tank...means ur car lighter.....

newspaper says caltex keeps our fuel system clean...
any comments>?

btw.. my car never reaches half tank full...
coz full tank is kinda heavy, and it will increase fc??
