i saw someone driving a R3 Waja @ shah alam a few month ago.. is that T. Djan's one? it has XOIC plate or something but im positively sure is a waja R3 coz it has R3 emblem at the back with the red R3 stripe.. first i thought someone mod to R3 but when i saw the Advanti rim and red seatbelt make me belive that waja R3 has been release.. or is it just the only one? but i did notice that the steering wheel is not the momo tuner that in SR3.. or maybe im wrong.. can someone from R3 verify this?

That belongs to someone who wanted his car to look "R3" .
The badges can be bought. ...the 8 hole Advanti can be bought.... Black colour can be painted.

I'd think if R3 were to launch a Waja R3 there would be media coverage etc.

The 210bhp CAMPRO engine is already in action in Malaysian Super Series in the R3 GEN.2 racecar driven by FAidzil Alang.

It seems that R3 is going to become a local tuning house for Proton...
something like Nismo for skyline; Ralliart for Mits; Mugen for Honda....etc...

210hp from 1.6l NA? confirm not road legal la wanna drive around town oso hard....heavy clutch, high cam engine will stalled when traffic jam, cruise highway hav to use 4th gear, etc etc

R3 Is the Motorsports arm of Proton so it's main aim is to produce performance & styling products for Proton Cars.

What R3 developes then becomes available on the market. Example, R3 has a range of products already for most , from suspension components to exhaust sytems to styling (bodykits)

The CAMPRO that has a 210bhp engine is a RACE spec engine. Not for ROAD USE.

Cant' compare to a Honda road spec B16. In fact the B16 race spec has more power than the CAMPRO SS1600

i went to Eneos and they only have those badges, parts but no sticker..
wanna make-up my car to be R3 ler.. :regular_smile:

from what i've read form the R3 site..
they've sold Satria R3 before, rite?
and then they made Gen.2 R3 but they don't sell it..
they just sell the parts..

i've asked them early this year for availability on Perdana parts..
they told me exhaust and suspension system are gonna be launched middle of this year..
but till now, nothing...

The Satria R3 was "mass produced" 150 units built in 2004-2005 and all sold out.

And the 2 GEN.2 & Waja MME Edition are also mass produced for domestic market.200 units each model.

The Savvy ZeroKit too. Even exported to South Africa.

R3 has been around since Aug 2003. First car - Satria R3 (2004) . First Race - MME 2004 (4th Overall).

mit is under ralliart too ma...
so most of d car conver d engine to mit... they stick d sticker on widescreen...

if a customer is to drive to R3 and ask him to tune up his/her proton; would R3 do it?
Sorry dude...doesn't really know what R3 does.
I thought it's an R&D funded by both the Government and Proton.
btw, R3 base is also inside Proton right??
