the Levin AE111 is not on fire..wat u see before it approaching Turn 1 is engine oil splurted out tru the oil cooler adapter and made contact with the exhaust.. tat's y the smoke.. haihhh

for safety reason.. the marshall hurried over and spray the fire extinguisher all over the engine bay...

Levin (AE111) - Oil cooler adaptor lose and split the oil all over the hot engine (That why got smoke not on fire, due to lack of oil...bearing jam)

really interesting race seeing the toyota (rare species) able to compete in the race as many overtaking can be seen there. even some ek, putra, satria n gti cant compete with the toyta......the race is even more interesting during the ending period as we can see those car getting more n more furious.......really exciting event.
 
ya...agreed!!! good race! proven tat 4age engine is ENDURANCE & PERFORMANCE!!! especially the seg 101 really do a good job! if ur guys were there then ur can really see how its overtake those EK...EG...1.6 & even 1.8 Satay!! (at corner & even speedway!!!) :tee:

Let imagine that engine working between 6000RPM -8500RPM range for 12 hours, there are alot of stress and vibration occur. Let say some of the small screw drop off after 8 hours of race on the belf that the belt snap. Who want this stuff to happen?

As I said it's depend on luck also.
Even I whack my car for less than 3 hours during SIC open day, most of my engine screw cover all lossen and some of them drop off. I only found out that I lost few of the allen key screw after i check my car during the end of the open track day session.

Anyway, what I can say is 4AGE 20V internally is very very strong, but sometime unfortunate events happend and other parts failure that will lead to engine failure.

Nothing is 100% guaranteed!!!, even F1 cars that has been inspect over and over again through sophisicated tolls and computers also failure during the race, so what else we can say?
 
maybe too kancheong and missed out kua...
coz all the things need to be prepared...and many things have to be done..

or maybe bad luck..hmm
 
i have my luck on Borneo Drag race.. so wish u all have ur luck too..
I'm the only one toyota entering TOP 8 in Group A class into 7th on the time attack. and the only one smallest CC engine that kicked heavy modded EVO, skyline, and big cc engine.
But my luck at final gone, intercooler hose fly out when running last final lap. any way i'm happy with the result.

Very unlucky that the intercooler hose flying... if not maybe can catch up quite near with the PGX evo, or maybe can potong :eek:

Remember... they had experience tuner... you tune it yourself... should've very proud of that :tee:
