why dont you deal with the dealer on the problem.. say send it to fix it first b4 taking the car... means they have to fix for you lah.. not you fix.. dont let the dealers take you for a round about...

hehehehe. Sometimes slightly 'cheap' buying price came with some head-aches. !! Pray so that there will not be any more mechanical faulty once you bought the car.

I believe it's a faulty AYC. Don't worry, it's rectifiable. Worst case need to change the AYC module.

why do u want to fix it yourself? a used AYC is around RM 3k to 4k. the labour cost and time to fix it is another issue here. don't buy a car that is not working. ask the dealer to fix everything for you. if they are not willing, then its a bit dangerous to deal with them. who knows what else is broken that you are unaware of? be careful bro...

i agreed on Mizunori... buying an EVO very tricky...
everybody knows that car is racing type... any previous owner sure "kaw-kaw" test the car.
it was happened to me before... bought the E.
after few days problem occur include the AYC signal on the dash bord (also others)
solve after change the AYC oil even thought it was change before in bought it (seller done it).
then another problem come day by day (but small probs - good for learning - bad, lost times).
spend hours/days to rectify probs...

normally we as a customer should request a warranty for certain period (seller/agent).
the problem will arise after 1-2 weeks u drive the car....

but now, everything in order & feel relief...
tried to the max speed in neighbor country, to check my speed cut...
it pass 180kmh if i not mistaken, night time some more... huhuhuhuh....

be patient to buy an E... i was not that time....

maybe "salah orang"... coz my ride can reach certain speed only then slow...
tested today to confirm my speed cut.
there is speed cut... 3 time tested on morning time...
when reaching "it" the engine kinda jerk.... & speed meter drop...
tested night time also same.... so confirm there is speed cut...

who's the kaki you mentioned...? black evo? white evo? or the evo x or the lancer GT?
