At 4AFE AE101 ECU's terminal, it has a pin reserves for O2 sensor (OX), and the main controller is monitoring this pin. So i think 4AFE AE101 does have O2 sensor...

do u recon any possible problem with the 4a-fe ecu ?
and is there any tweaking for the ECU ? cause i heard that the ECU for auto and manual is the same for this model .

a friend of mine said its possible that need to switch the ECU mode to manual or something .
but i've never heard of this one before .

Hi Monsh, you can self diagnose the ECU by jumping TE1 and E1 at the diagnosis connector and monitor the flashing pattern of the Check Engine Light. The result will be same as using the scan tools.
4-2-1 header should be easy to find because there are many of the 4AFE owner has upgraded their engine to 4AGE and left behind the 4AFE header. But i'm doubt its the header that cause the high FC...

Yes the ECU is from local model.
Both auto and manual model is using the same ecu, 89661-12800 so "mode switching" doesn't exist.
ECU that built from 1991 until 1996 are subject to aging problem now and may fail at anytime. This situation is happening to Toyota, Honda, Mitsubishi, Mazda, Ford etc. I have rebuilt more than 20 units of 4AFE AE101 ECU so you may want to be alert that your high FC could be due to the aging of your ECU.

frankly speaking, when it comes to wiring and electronic, i suck big time .
i'm seriously considering finding someone who could do the diagnostic of the ECU and also the electrical system.

mechanically, the car works fine, but electronic and sensor, i dont know .

Hi Monsh, yes i does do the checking as well as rebuild the ECU.
Checking will be FOC and as for rebuild, you will get a like new performance ECU which comes with 2 yrs warranty at a good price that you can't find at any place. Please PM me if you would like to know more.
The ECU is located right under the car audio. You can access to it by slightly lifting the console beside the foot rest.
