B16A Engine Modification Advice Needed !

Hey guys ,

Currently running a B16A AUTO ( i know.. ) - big vtec cams , usual whale penis intake , b16a gen2 IM , 4-2-1 exhaust system some cap ayam one the previous owner put - ngk cables - denso plugs -

What are the mods that i could see a gain in hp.. Currently running not too high on hp having the thirst for more ! before any of you shoot me to change to manual ( not yet ; wanna do the mods that can be used in my future manual too )

Still a student right now so don't really have a lot of money to do stuff like rebore block and etc ; so be gentle on me :P

since the manual is basically ur main target... id say stop all mods...stop spending money on the car unless necessary (service, repairs etc)...and save ur money for the primary mod...aka manual...

thats what im doing now oso...only spending money on necessary items for maintenance, servicing, repairs.. while saving up for the main mods i have planned.



but if u still wanna mod while saving...no replacement for displacement... go B18C or B20B....and dont forget some form of management to tune ur a/f ratio

4-2-1 headers , what are good ? downpipe is an add-on to the 4-2-1 or what O_o

If your heading for manual in the future, we have Individual throttle body intake system for B16A/B18C-R. You will need management on that, definitely alot of torque and horsepower increase. ;)

TDM for B series got here meh? if got pls tell me where....i LOVE their headers and their X bars...so far ive only heard of very limited amounts of TDM headers for K series.

anyway....unknown brand...but tonnka oso has a header for the B series with the Hytech design

I started of my B series adventure on my ex teg on B16A then go B18C and lastly B20B. Only sold the car after driving it close to 8 years and the last B20B engine still have one thing which i spent doing up in my B16A. That's the header!! So if you are going on same path as mine before then go for port n polish spend the money to do the part on your header like cams, pulley, valve spring etc as when i go next stage to B18C and B20B it will be still using the same head items. What you need is just getting bottom block to match the header. That's my VTEC rojak lo.... well everyone is rojaking unless your next engine displacement upgrade is straight using B18CR halfcut ;D

Dont waste time and money modding b16a auto,I used to drive a b16a auto mod with b16a manual cam+fgk sflow+fgk 421+2.3inch pipe and vafc...the performance still cant compare to a b16a manual. If u wanna keep auto then just find b18c or b20b block but dunno ur gearbox can tahan or not la.

actually ah... a B20 auto is somewhat a good idea for daily drive etc.

u get the 2.0L torque to compensate for the auto tranny's lembik-ness...

best part is... i have a semi-built b20 block for sale... cheap :D
