Just changed my tires last week. Here's some pricing from Hup Soon Sunway.

Size = 235/45/17

Toyo R1R - RM 600
Federal RSR - RM 620
Toyo R888 - RM 680
Achilles 123 - RM 450
Goodyear Asymmetric 2 - RM 630

Wanted to get R1R/RSR but at the end settled for Goodyear Asymmetric 2 as wet performance is more important when it comes to our weather. Might just get another set of rims and put on R888 or even Achilles 123 just purely for dry performance if the need ever arises.. Hehehehhehe....

I am using the GY Asy 2 also because for daily use.
When you mentioned the list of tyres, I thought you track kaki......

R1R can perform well on wet.

Just bought Goodyear Eagle F1 D5 at Shah Alam Tyres (at the round about near the Goodyear factory):
A pair of 215/50/17 @ Rm450 each
A pair of 245/45/17 @ Rm620 each
The rating is 300/AA/A, made in Thailand.

my honda city just waiting to get a new tyre. but as i read here and some other forums, it's so hard to find 185/55R16 tyre. any help?

Yup, because new size. You can either go back to the OE brand, or change to 195/50R16, but same thing not many choice but wider tyres....

175/65R15 is for low spec CT and 185/55R16 is for high spec.
From 185/55R16, you can fit 195/50R16, but the overall diameter will be smaller by 1.42%.
The narrow OE rims should fit 195 size tyre width quite well.
Conti CPC2 have this size now other then the older CSC1......

Yup, you can get the GY Asy 2 for that price in PJ. Second mistake is MY-02 already out.
